Bullying is awful
Bullying isn't a funny thing. It hurts people. It kills people mentally. It drives people insane.
Did you know that bullying caused so much deaths? Suicides? People just give their life away easily just because of the words they receive everyday, the bruises they get every single day, the titters of every one else laughing at the way h/she dress.
Most teenagers reason to why they bully is: "I wasn't bullying. I was just playing around."
Now see, that's the problem. Most people think that bullying is just for fun. Yes maybe it's for fun to you, but not to the victim. Imagine yourself in that position. Do you really think it's fun for someone to receive your harsh words and actions? Obviously not.
Don't hurt others! Make more friends :)
.

.
VOTD (Verse of the day):
'Love your neighbor as yourself.' There is no commandment greater than these. - Mark 12:31
Friendships
There isn't ONE perfect friendship in this world. Everybody makes mistakes. Friends fight.
That is why there's a term called "reconciling with a friend". It's a way to fix your friendship, to heal the wound, to make things better.
I know some fights could be awful & terrible, sometimes our friends can even hurt us. But before giving up and letting go your friendship, think back again...think carefully...your friends are your friends for a reason. Think through about all the fun and happy memories, the things you both went through and at the end of the day you'll really value your friendship and won't let anything or anyone take away your friendship.
Friends are gifts from God.
Cherish them. You might not meet anyone like them again in the future.
So to whoever is having a fight with their friend...
Don't you want to make things better?
And to keep your friendship for the longest time ever?
Then talk to them...
I hope things go alright!

How To Deal With Bullying
Bullying is inevitable.
But there is a way to deal with it.
.
.
.
If someone starts bothering you or bullying you, ignore them.
If ignoring is still not working and what they did is already passing the line, you should tell a teacher or your parents. I know that this is a normal thing to say, but it's true. If you kept the pain inside hidden, and tell it to no one then you would be dying inside.
If nobody is listening to you and simply ignoring you, you talk to God. Talk to Him. The One who knows everything about you and still loves You unconditionally.
One thing to remember: don't seek for revenge.
"Bless those who persecute you."
If you're a victim of bullying...
- Pray
- Ignore the words
- Be strong

How Do You Reconcile With Your Friend?
1. Approach your friend
If you feel like you made a mistake or if your friend just suddenly acted differently, approach and talk to them nicely. Make sure that the timing is right; your friend is in a good condition, there's not much school work going on, etcetera.
2. Talk with your friend
Once you approached them and they agree to talk things out with you, start asking and talking. Once your friend is engaged in the conversation, listen out to her thoughts and feelings. Try to understand each other's point of view and if possible, don't explode easily and calm down while you're talking. Speak the truth even if it hurts because it's much better to be hurt with the truth than sugarcoated with a lie.
3. Forgive and forget
After the hard talking, apologize to each other and forget the mistakes. It's the past after all, it's better to forget it and leave it behind than keeping it with you as a grudge.
4. Learn from your mistakes
Problem solved! All you now have to do is learn from your mistakes. Try to be a better person and don't repeat the same mistakes. Be a better person :)
Hope this helps!
Is Reconciling With Your Friend Important?
First of all, do you know what 'reconcile' means?
rec·on·cile
(verb) - to restore friendly relations between.
Now that you know what it means, let's go back to our original topic.
Is it important?
Yes.
But why?
.
.
.
.
If you have wronged with a friend or you fought with your closest friend, don't you want to fix the relationship? Put the bandage on the wound to let it heal? I'm sure everyone wants that.
Think about it. They were your friends for a good reason, so why waste the friendship because of a fight, which you both can talk it out? That's why it's important.
Is Bullying Crushing Children or Just Kids Being Kids?
Since this is still a debatable topic, I wouldn't be biased to one side.
Bullying could be both crushing children and just kids being kids. On one side, where kids are teases and mocked until they are crushed is the things we do not want to see.
Let me make a scenario. Let's say, you are making "Yo Mama" jokes with your friend.
He started with, "Yo Mama so fat, she doesn't need the Internet to go worldwide because she is literally worldwide already!"
And you fought back with another joke, "Yo Mama so fat, she have her own gravity!"
It went on and on. Until at one point, you gave him your best Yo Mama joke until he get really pissed off. He actually feel insulted by your joke towards his mother and eventually punches you.
You hit him back and defended yourself.
Now... The question is: Was telling the joke that insulted his mother bullying?
The answer is: NO!
Why? Your friend started first, you fired at him back. You didn't know his level of sensitivity. You didn't if he is going to be angry at you or not. You just gave him your best shot. And, he punched you. You punched him back to defend yourself. Nothing is bullying in that scenario.
The second scenario says as follows...
Imagine you are the tallest and biggest student at school. Everyone were afraid of you because of your physical appearance.
One day, when a new student arrived at your school, the first thing you did was...
"Lunch money on the table. NOW!"
He refused to surrender his allowance and so you went frenzy. You grabbed his collar and lift him up into the air like he was a doll. You gave him a wedgie and checked his pockets for the cash. But, there was nothing in his pocket.
You dropped him to the floor like a sack of flour. Then, you picked up his bag and spill out all its fillings. Books, papers, and pens were all shattered on the floor.
"Oh! But wait! What's this?!" you exclaimed as you found what you were looking for.
A black leather Pierre Cardin wallet with fifty-thousand rupiah was hiding between the wallet pocket. You took it out, put the cash inside your pocket and threw the wallet at the new pupil's face.
"It's payday! Bwahahahaha!" you laughed so loud as you leave the class.
Was that bullying?
I'm pretty sure it was. First, you grabbed a NEW student up in the air. Then, you gave him a wedgie (Ouch!). You threw all his stuff on the floor afterwards. Finally, you took his money.
That new kid probably wished that he had never enrolled for this school on the first place. If taking him down was your objective, well, guess what, you nailed it. But you might nail it at the wrong wall. You will bring a bad name for you school (if you care). You might need to face the principal and the parents of that new dude. You will be notorious. Everyone hates you. You will have no friends. Ever.
Bullying will not only crush others which is your victim. But, will as well crush you in the mere future. So basically, what I'm trying to say is, what comes around, goes around. You destroy other people's life, you are destroying your own.
So, what are you waiting for? Stop bullying already.

#2 Pair
I'm Nadia and my partner will be Jason Putra.
We both will need to work on a plan to reconcile with a friend and to help fix bullying.
We will brainstorm ideas on how the final picture should be like, and make sure that it will connect with the bullying topic.

#1 Pair
Since we have two topics on our list, we will divide the work into two. Our two topics are somehow connected with each other; fix BULLYING by developing a plan to RECONCILE with your friend.
I'm Rafi and my partner will be Michael.
We will be designing the part of the bullying, and brainstorming ideas on how to fix bullying (that's when the next topic which is developing a plan to reconcile with a friend).

Two topics
1.) A plan for reconciling with a friend you have wronged
2.) How to fix bullying?
Why these two topics?
Because...
1.) Conflicts tend to happen a lot, sometimes way too much. It's something that all of us have already experience. Fighting, the drama and then the forgive and forget part. Therefore this topic is quite easy to share to other people. This would also be able to motivate a friend to approach the other friend, and who knows, we'll be able to fix a friendship.
2.) Bullying happens everywhere - mostly at schools. “Kids will be kids” is a famous saying suggesting that bullying is a normal part of growing up. Yet with beatings, death threats, and 24-hour harassment via technology, bullying has become a dangerous, life-threatening epidemic. Children cannot get away from it, which has led to many suicides. Schools are struggling to take a stand against bullying, and with parents, politics, and the media involved, educators have a difficult time pleasing everyone.

Story of my life
Heyyy!
I love the number 13 - I just don't get why people think it's an unlucky number. I was born in June 2002. HAHAHA! Just kidding I'm currently 14 but I still look like I'm twelve (; Aging is just not my thing! I'm crazy and I party like I'm 22 WOOO! I like imagining what life was like hundreds of years from now. How I wish I was born in the year 3000. I have blurry eyesight but I chose not to use glasses cause I'll look like a nerd D: My goal in life is to create a magical cream that would make me young forever - inside and out. As far as I'm concerned, aging is just EW.
I love to exaggerate things wayyyy too much! My poor friends think I've gone loco. My imagination goes wild all the time. But don't you worry I am so not loco. I'm also so very childish I never stopped jumping up and down on my bed whenever I'm bored. My biggest fear is aging. Or, letting someone down. I really love coloring people's life with cheers and joy. I want to be just like how a piece of candy is for a child...I want to make people laugh whenever they see me. I get clumsy most of the time and I'm having memory problems. I just can't seem to remember important things...but the funny thing is, I am still able to remember ridiculous and useless stuffs from years ago. I live in Jakarta, Indonesia.
I go into a trance when I meet famous people. I don't like it when something or someone turns out to be different than what you originally thought. Like when you have a friend who is all nice and kind in your face but they are actually devils in disguise - fake friends. I love my friends and I'm always trying to make new ones, even if I find it hard to make new friends. I don't know why but I just find it extremely difficult to start a conversation and get comfortable with someone I just met. I also don't think you should ever take life so seriously that you forget to mess around and have fun.
The Photographer
Hello there.
Let me introduce myself for a start.
I'm Nadia.
I'm not only a student, but I'm also a freelance photographer!
I absolutely enjoy taking snapshots of both ordinary and extraordinary things. The mainstream things, beautiful ones and even the odd ones because you can always find beauty in everything. I own a website where I usually upload my pictures to share to the world. I know owning a website wouldn't make my career any successful, but one time this quite well known photographer emailed me and told me that he wanted to see my pictures and maybe work with me. That's when my career became more serious.
I don't only enjoy capturing moments, but I also do love traveling. And the best thing about being a photographer is that I get to do both of the things I love; taking pictures and traveling. It's very amusing to be able to work with different types of people. I always feel so blessed.
Although it's sometimes rather complex, I always have my parents and friends supporting and helping me with my work.
The Civil Engineer
Good day, mate.
I'm going to tell you about myself.
So..
Here it goes..
I love to build stuffs. But most of the time I play games and sleep. I procrastinate. A lot. But I finished my work. Most of the time. And if you think that procrastination is a bad thing, NO! It's not! Ohh.. By the way, I'm Michael. I go to school at Springfield International School.
Hard to say that I am good at sports but, I'm okay.. I mean I am not that bad and not that good either. I do sports just to be healthy and have fun.
Building things is like my daily meal. I do it everyday. It's rare to find the structures I built stand more than a week. Sometimes the reason I don't complete my work is because I procrastinate. I'm going to get it done anyway. So... Mehhh...
The first project I worked on is building the bridges around Central Jakarta to help pedestrians cross the streets. I made seven bridges in all. Three almost fell and the other three barely made it but one stood strong like the Great Wall of China. It was an accomplishment.
Right now, I am working on the project the governor assigned me. The MRT. At first, I had doubts. I don't think that it would work. But, you won't know if you don't try. Anyway, it's me I am talking about. There is nothing I cannot build.
I am one of the Fanatic Four and I am looking forward in accomplishing great success with this group.
I'm going to tell you about myself.
